Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 247-Warm Winter Wishes
It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! This week's sketch features an always controversial tilted panel--stampers seem to either love them or hate them . . .
I definitely prefer non-traditional colors for my holiday cards, so that's what I did here. I started off with a panel of diagonal striped paper full of shades of blue and purple. The panel was adhered to a dark purple card base. I added a gray fishtail flag strip across the panel, then topped the fishtail flag strip with a purple rectangle. The "warm winter wishes" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Seasonal Sentiments set was stamped on an turquoise panel in gray pigment ink, then adhered to the cardfront on an angle. I die cut a snowflake from shimmery white cardstock and set it at the bottom of the sentiment panel using foam tape. It's accented with a clear crystal for a sparkly touch.
To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
